Virtual Hackathon and Summit.

She Power is a virtual program comprising a Hackathon and a three-day summit to empower women tech startup founders and startups in India. The Hackathon aims to find woman-led technology solutions to solve critical issues faced by women in India. The three-day virtual summit aims to bring public attention to the topics relevant for Indian women. She Power is organized in association with the US state department and world learning, the implementing partner.

This virtual hackathon is an attempt to find suitable solution in the areas of security, hygiene and re-skilling of woman in India. The hackathon is open to all startups/enterprises, established or cofounded by woman.

Who can Apply?

Applicants should be between the age of 18 and 55. They should at least have a viable product, prototype or a scalable idea to present on the following problem statements.

Women’s Reskilling

COVID-induced unemployment has reduced the income of the majority. Even if the pandemic gets controlled, old practices will be eliminated. It will be difficult to go ahead without upskilling or reskilling. Do you have reskilling platforms or solutions for women?

Women’s Safety

In public and cyberspaces, women’s safety is under threat. She is safe neither on the road nor at home. And, faces cyberattack on social media and cyberspace. Do you have simple security solutions to help her across all spaces?

Women’s Hygiene

Our country lacks clean toilets in public spaces and highways. Unhygienic situations create grave health issues among women. Are there economic and hygienic solutions for this?
